Abstract

Digital art has emerged as a prominent form of expression in contemporary cultural movements, reshaping the boundaries of creativity, accessibility, and engagement. With the advent of new media technologies, digital art has provided a platform for marginalized voices, facilitated social change, and expanded the scope of artistic practices. This article examines the role of digital art in contemporary cultural movements, with a specific focus on its impact in Pakistan. By analyzing the intersection of digital art and political, social, and cultural activism, the article highlights how this innovative medium has transformed artistic expression and contributed to the shaping of contemporary cultural identities. Through case studies and examples from both global and local contexts, we explore the multifaceted roles that digital art plays in advocating for social justice, engaging with issues of identity, and challenging traditional art forms.
