Refund Policy

The Journal of Social Sciences, Humanities and Innovation (JSSHI) is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all its financial transactions. The following refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted:

1. Article Submission Fees:

   • JSSHI does not charge a submission fee for manuscript submission or review. As such, there are no refunds associated with manuscript submission.

2. Article Processing Charges (APC):

   • If applicable, JSSHI may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. This charge covers the costs associated with the peer review, editorial management, and publication of the manuscript.

   • Refunds for APC: Once the APC payment is processed and the manuscript is accepted for publication, no refunds will be issued, as the costs for processing and publication have been incurred by the journal.

   • If the manuscript is withdrawn by the author before final acceptance or publication, the APC may be refunded, provided the withdrawal request is submitted promptly and prior to the start of the production process.

3. Paper Print Fees:

   • Authors or readers may request printed copies of their published articles for personal, academic, or institutional purposes. A nominal fee will be charged for paper prints, which covers the cost of printing, binding, and shipping.

   • Refunds for Paper Prints: If a paper print order is canceled before it is processed and shipped, a full refund will be issued. If the order has already been processed and shipped, no refunds will be provided.

4. Refund Eligibility:

   • Refunds will only be issued under specific conditions, such as:

     • If a paper print request is canceled before the printing and shipping process.

     • If a manuscript is withdrawn before being accepted for publication, and the APC has been paid.

     • If the journal fails to deliver the service as described (e.g., in the case of significant errors or delays).

5. No Refund for Published Articles:

   • Once an article has been published, either online or in print, the fees associated with the publication are non-refundable. This includes all associated charges, such as APC and print fees.

6. Refund Request Procedure:

   • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the journal’s editorial team via email.

   • The request should include the author’s name, article title, and the reason for the refund request.

   • Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and the final decision will be communicated within 14 business days.

7. Final Decision:

   • JSSHI reserves the right to make the final decision regarding any refund requests, and refunds will only be issued in accordance with the terms outlined in this policy.
