Withdrawal Policy

The Journal of Social Sciences, Humanities and Innovation (JSSHI) aims to uphold the highest ethical standards in publishing. The following withdrawal policy ensures that authors, readers, and the journal maintain integrity throughout the publication process:

  1. Author-Initiated Withdrawal:

    • Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript from consideration at any point before the final acceptance for publication.

    • If a manuscript is accepted but not yet published, the author may request a withdrawal by notifying the editorial team via email, including a valid reason for the withdrawal.

    • Once a manuscript has been published (online or in print), withdrawals will not be accepted. Authors should ensure that their manuscript is final before submission to avoid unnecessary withdrawals.

  2. Conditions for Withdrawal:

    • If an author wishes to withdraw a paper after submission or during the peer review process, they must do so promptly, ideally before receiving reviewer feedback.

    • A manuscript may be withdrawn if it has been found to contain plagiarism, ethical violations, or data falsification, as determined by the editorial board.

    • If the author fails to respond to reviewer comments or requests for revisions in a timely manner, the manuscript may be considered for withdrawal by the editorial team.

  3. Editor-Initiated Withdrawal:

    • The editorial board reserves the right to withdraw any manuscript from consideration or publication if it is found to violate the journal’s submission guidelines, ethical standards, or conflicts of interest.

    • Manuscripts may also be withdrawn if they are found to have been submitted to multiple journals simultaneously (duplicate submission), or if there is a serious breach of copyright or ethical issues.

  4. Post-Publication Withdrawal:

    • In exceptional cases, such as in cases of serious errors, ethical concerns, or legal issues, JSSHI may retract or issue a correction to a published article.

    • The withdrawal or retraction will be handled transparently, and a notice will be published on the journal’s website. The reason for withdrawal will be clearly stated, and the retracted article will remain accessible in the archives, marked clearly as retracted.

  5. Refunds for Paper Print Requests:

    • If a withdrawal request is made before a paper print request is processed, the author or requester may be eligible for a full refund of any associated fees.

    • If the paper prints have already been processed and shipped, no refunds will be provided.

  6. Finality of Decision:

    • Once a manuscript is officially published (either online or in print), it becomes part of the permanent archives of JSSHI. The withdrawal process will not be retroactively applied to published content except in cases of significant ethical violations or legal requirements.
